4D3N tour in Holiday Villa Pantai Indah Bintan Islands

Bintan Island is one of famous of Indonesia Island, which is a short boat ride from the city of Singapore. Its northern Lagoi area is an upscale resort destination offering championship golf courses, secluded beaches and diverse water sports. This Island is one of attractive destination as quick weekend destination among the lots of Singaporeans.

Preparation for the Tour

This tour we planed around 1 month before our travel date and book was done through a tour package. So this package included couple of tours, accommodation, land transport in Bintan, etc.
If any one planing to desperately book the items its also possible.

The round trip ferry from Singapore to Bintan  costs around S$50 to S$80 depending on peak periods, and departs Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal several times a day.
For the Accomodation you can search plenty of options from online booking service providers such as Agoda , Booking, Airbnb, etc.
Some of Nationalities required visa in order to Travel in Indonesia, So make sure to fulfill visa requirements before you start the tour.

Where to Stay in Bintan

In Our journey we stayed at Holiday Villa Pantai Indah Bintan which we though to have villa experience on this tour. For us its cost around 200 SGD per night for couple.  Its providing one and two bed room villas for the guests with reasonable prices. Note that if you do not have land transportation, you can contact the hotel and check with their Transportation options.

Activities in Bintan

GURUN PASIR BUSUNG

This is a unique place which you can feel like middle of desert and suddenly you could see blue pond in middle. I would say its Instagram worthy place to visit in Bintan.

Mangrove Tour

This is one of unique tour which we participate on Bintan. This tour even can be arrange from hotel it self. It will cost around 40 SGD per person. This tour will include either Indonesian lunch or dinner on riverside local restaurant. Its was great experience to have that local food culture dureing this visit.

Plaza Lagoi and Lagoi Bay

Plaza Lagoi is the only shopping mall inside the tourist area on Bintan and Lagoi bay area just walking distance away from shopping mall. I emphasize that do not expect lot of shopping or variety of food options in Bintan compared to other tour attractions in Indonesia.

One food outlet in Lagoy Bay Area which we had dinner

Treasure Bay Bintan

Chill Cove at Treasure Bay Bintan is a one-stop attraction park that has a variety of recreational and sporting activities suitable for all ages from dawn till dusk. Nature lovers can ride the ATV through the dirt trail, and kayak or take a pontoon cruise through the mangrove forest. At 6.3 hectares (about the size of 50 Olympic pools), Chill Cove’s Crystal Lagoon is South-east Asia’s first man-made seawater lagoon. For those who love water activities such as swimming, paddle-board, or jetovator, the Crystal Lagoon is a dream come true.
Entry fee would be around 12 SGD for the Adult.

conclusion

When consider about cost, it's cost us around 700 SGD for the whole trip including some of guides which we bough from Indonesia(around 150 SGD).
Even we stayed for short period of time we enjoyed every moment in Bintan. On my personal view its a great place to spend your shot holidays in peaceful environment with enjoying the beauty of nature.

Day trip to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve

It's bit hard to believe this kind of nature reserve still there in city country like Singapore. It was given us mentally relaxness and enjoyable moments. It gave us the feeling that we were more towards nature while we are walking through the reserve.  Sungei Buloh was first opened as a Nature Park in 1993. In 2002, 130 hectares were officially gazetted as a Nature Reserve and renamed Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve to better reflect its status. In the same year, it was recognised as a site of international importance for migratory birds and awarded a certificate by Wetlands International, marking the reserve's formal entry into the East Asian Australasian Shorebird Site Network, which includes Australia's Kakadu National Park, China's Mai Po – Inner Deep Bay and Japan's Yatsu Tidal Flats. And in 2003, Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve became Singapore's first ASEAN Heritage Park. Arriving there This was an unplanned  day tripe w...
